Finally Removed the engine from the 300zx to make room for a new drive train. There has been a lot of debate of what would be replacing the stock engine.

The 4g63 from 90’s Mitsubishi Eclipse or sister cars.

Ended up sticking with the 4G63 that’s going to be built from a bare block. Whats going to replace the transmission you might ask. Well nothing other that a 2008 Dodge Viper transmission, the TR6060.
